The Rolex Submariner ref. 168000 is one of the most unique and short-lived references in the Submariner lineup. Produced for only a few months around 1987, it marked the transition between the 16800 and 16610. What distinguishes it is the early use of 904L stainless steel for the case while retaining vintage elements like the matte dial and tritium lume.
This particular piece is in very good condition, freshly serviced, and comes as a full set with the original Rolex box and papers. A rare opportunity to own a historically significant transitional Submariner.
